'We booked this hotel in May 2026 with a list of amenities including room refrigerators and microwaves, a hotel pool, and guest bourbon bar. These definitely figured into our booking the hotel. We arrived to find that the hotel was sold in June 2026 and was being renovated. The pool was empty and there was no bar available. Our room had no refrigerator or microwave. 'The staff was nice and pleasant. The breakfast was solid, but did get old after 2 days as there was zero variety day to day. Adding some more fresh fruit options or changing up the hot items would have made it better. The rooms and linens were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were remodeled at some point, but are starting to show wear. We used the pool area and found it was good. The pool deck and pool surround is in need of repair outside (broken tiles, outdoor pool ladder...

'I liked that I was able to bring my pup. My main reason for my stay was to get my pup out of my neighborhood away from the fireworks. The hotel isn't super close to neighborhoods so it was overall a very stress free stay. Stay was very kind, parking was convenient and breakfast was nice.'

'The property was okay overall. The staff was friendly, but the pool was out of service during my stay, which was disappointing. Some of the towels in the room were also dirty and could have been cleaner. Other than that, my stay was decent.'

'The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back.'

'Rose Hill Inn is amazing! Beautiful room and very comfortable beds, lots of little touches (chocolates by the bed, waters and soft drinks in the fridge, coffee, complimentary breakfast which was delicious! Would highly recommend, will definitely be back! Very friendly owners!'
