'Due to delays late at the hotel. Phoned to reserve for dinner at 8 pm; not possible agreed with 8.15. Normallly een good sign when it is that busy. When arriving at the hotel no one at the reception. Waiter told us to wait. It took 15 minutes. Reception needed creditcard which I did not understand as we paid in advance. Felt treated as if we were criminals. Went to restaurant where we got the most unattractive table in a almost empty restaurant. Menu very limited and overpriced. As we had to...

'Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.'

'On website it said breakfast included also through the Expedia website but when we went to order breakfast we were told it wasn’t included. We were checking out on a Monday morning which I may add is 10am only to discover the Plough is closed hence no breakfast. We had a 2 night stay and our towels or bin wasn’t changed in fact no housekeeping. As I result there wasn’t enough loo roll disappointed with food as only light snacks available when we arrived around 2.30'
