'Lots of character, authentic, old inn. Good parking on site at rear with nice garden to sit in. Nice ambiance overall. Staff competent. Evening meal - we had the hake - was excellent. Good breakfast. The double room we stayed in overlooked the main street. It was sufficiently quiet although it was smaller than we would have liked. Satisfactory for one or two nights stay, and at the price point very acceptable. Would not rule out staying again if in the area.'

'Room above the inn. There was a karaoke night in the pub. Looked like a lot of locals and it was fun. Very friendly people. Music stopped somewhere between 23:00 and 23:30. No worries. Inn is located in a small quiet village. Nice to take a walk. Food in the inn was nice as well. We were the only quests but they still took the time. '

'Fabulous stay. Staff were so helpful, shepherds hut was gorgeous and the setting was just so peaceful! This will most definitely be the first place I book when travelling to this area again!'
