'A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub.
The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean.
The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before.
She worked wonders our rooms was spotless.
We had a lovely stay with a great breakfast. Will definitely go back.

'It was very clean and stylish. There were just a couple of glitches which stops it from being excellent, although they were both fixed quickly when mentioned.'

'No instructions in the room on how to operate anything.
Shower: insufficient grab handles for old fogies to safely get out. A non slip mat was available from reception. This information was on the very back of the shower. Found by chance.
No information on how to switch the electric towel rail off.'

'Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast.'

'The room was great, the staff very friendly but what was outstanding was the food, what a surprise it was, pub food is normally quite boring in my opinion but this was anything but.
Pork belly mash and the most delicious red cabbage I've ever had and I've travelled a lot and eaten a lot in my travels, this was up there with the best. '
