'It’s always a pleasure to come here and chill for a couple of days. We are cyclists who enjoy road riding in the area and Desolation is perfectly situated for that. And a wonderful place to come back to after a day of riding for an afternoon of hanging in the Aspen Grove.
All amenities are first rate, staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is good (especially breakfast).

'2de keer in dit hotel maar deze keer viel het ons toch wel erg tegen. Handdoeken waar telkens haren in zaten. We hadden in eerste instantie een kamer waar echt overal vieze vlekken in het bed zaten en waarbij de wc niet schoon was gemaakt. 2de kamer was beter maar de accommodatie kan wel een upgrade gebruiken.'
