'We visited Liverpool on one of the most expensive weeks of the year (due to Liverpool FC's parade and the May Bank Holiday music festivals), so chose to stay in Stockport, a few miles up the coast from Liverpool, where accommodation is far better value for money, and it's quieter.
If you don't want to drive into Liverpool city centre, there's a very regular railway service (every 15 minutes) between the two towns, and parking at Stockport station is only £3.95 for 24 hours when using the NCP...

'We needed to be able to check in an hour earlier than stated as we had to get changed and travel to a wedding.
The staff were very helpful and allowed us . Result , we didn't have to get changed in the toilets at the venue and made it on time suited and booted 😂 '
