'Horribly noisy , there was a hockey tournament and the teams must've all stayed at the hotel . Kids were running up and down the hall until 11pm yelling at each other . I'm assuming they didn't have enough chaperones. We were on the second floor and all we could hear throughout the night was the flushing of toilets coming down the plumbing inside the walls , which was the wall that the headboard is on . We asked to be moved for the second night and the staff were helpful in accommodating...

'The room was massive, even bigger than the picture made us think. Great waterpressure in the shower and nice beds. The location is near several highways and it offers easy access to both the city as wel as Peggy's Cove. Nice pool and good breakfast as well. Only downside was that housekeeping on our floor was only at the end of the afternoon (around 4 pm) which can be a bit late when traveling with a young child.'

'We found Nalu Retreat to be a true gem! The Dome was just like it appears in the photos. Everything was clean, clean, clean and tastefully done. As a former boutique hotel manager & chef I was impressed with the attention to detail. Comfortable leather sofa, extra throws, nature sounds, plenty of plugs, kitchen supplies, Robes, Turkish towels, goodies in the kitchenette, too many to mention. We were enthralled with the setting and enjoyed our time in the hot tub and the privacy surrounding us....

'We had a great experience at the Burgundy Dream B&B. Kaz and Sam were lovely and their breakfast was amazing. Their home was also very well kept and clean. We had the upper room with the bunk beds and it was very cute. We totally recommend it! Thank you Sam and Kaz for this beautiful experience!!'
