Our host Jenny, was very welcoming, and the stay was exactly what we'd hoped for. She was there for any questions, or recommendations, and encouraged us to enjoy the property. She left fresh eggs, from the chickens, tangelos from their tree, and cut us some aloe, in case we got a sunburn. Would definitely recommend, especially if you love dogs. They have three, but we were spent the most time, playing with Kizzy, he was so much fun, and such a good boy

The host was very friendly and welcoming as were her three dogs. If you're allergic, you may wish to mention this to her or just be mindful there are dogs here but they were very sweet pups.We got a tour of the property and she left fresh limes from her orchard and eggs from her chickens. The casita and location were perfect for our needs - we were visiting my Mom who lives in the area. The bed was comfortable and I was able to make my coffee. ;) The space felt like a very large studio apartment with all the bare essentials (and then some).

Our stay in Bonita was truly delightful. The casita was clean and well equipped with plush linens and towels, including all amenities mentioned in the description. What wasnt mentioned were the exceptional touches like plants and handpicked flowers. Fruits from their garden and fresh eggs straight from the the henhouse where also in the fridge for our arrival! We were so pleased to be in a safe and gated home inside 2 acres of serenity with mature landscaping, a lovely pool and the sweetest dogs to welcome us.

We would give this 10 stars, if possible. Very comfortable, both the casita and the grounds. Loved Jenny, our host, she is the best! It was fun having the chickens there, fresh eggs every morning, and roaming the property. Best of all, the dogs, especially Kizzy, who adopted us, stood watch outside our room whenever we were there, and followed us everywhere. We really felt like we had our own dog for a week! Can't wait to return, we miss it and Kizzy already!The property is only a mile from the village of Bonita, which has a great supermarket (Vons) and lots of restaurants. A great exercise path circles the municipal golf course there. When we return to the SD area, we will definitely stay at this property. It is close to everything in the San Diego area.

A hidden gem of tranquility in an urban setting. Jenny and her entire family were very accommodating and welcoming, not to mention generous with access to additional amenities. Worth every penny and perfectly located to my family’s location. Would recommend for a couple or family of 3 comfortably with air mattress they would provide. Property was exactly as stated, more so in my opinion. The grounds are nicely manicured, pool and jacuzzi clean and just a few feet away from the casita. Oasis Awaysis...

The hosts were all very kind and welcoming. Great property that is like a small oasis, just a hop, skip and jump from all that San Diego has to offer. While the hosts were great, we absolutely LOVED spending time with Ms. Tara, Maxi and Kizzy, the dogs. Anytime we were in the Casita, Kizzy was stationed right outside the door.
