We have been visiting Florida every spring break for the last 8 years and Shorebird Cottage was one of the best that we've stayed at! We had an amazing stay and the heated pool was the highlight for our two teen sons. The house had a great open concept layout, was clean and bright. The owners had stocked the house fully with everything that we needed and more! If you are into a house that is thoughtfully organized and comfortable, you will not be disappointed. We really appreciated how Tara responded quickly to our messages, and she followed up with us to ensure that everything was OK. Overall, we highly recommend Shorebird Cottage and look forward to visiting there again in the near future!

The property exceeded expectations. Our family of four had an incredible vacation. Everything in the house was well crafted and new. The cookware, linens, and appliances were all top notch. The backyard was an oasis. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, as well as the patio and grass area. We also found the backyard to be quite secure and safe. We have little children (4 and 7) and we felt the pool area and the fencing around the property kept them very safe. We have been to Bonita many times and we are aware of the many things to do in the area. During this trip we spent the vast majority of our time at the house. It was that enjoyable. It was a great kitchen for all of our cooking needs. We carried out several times from The Fish House or from Coconut Jacks, both very close and excellent. Our boys enjoyed the bunk room. There were some toys and games available for them to play with. The internet worked well and the Smart TV gave us all of our streaming options. We brought some of our own old sheets to drape over the nice sofa. We would hate for our boys to stain new furniture. I would recommend this for families because everything in this house is nice and new. Final thought... We used to be condo rentals only. This was our first pool house. We are now converts. I can't see going back to a condo.
