'Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. The rocking chairs on the porch were so comfortable, and it was great to have a free reserved parking spot since it costs 20 and is difficult to get a public spot later in the day to tour. Within two blocks, you have several options...

'This above garage apartment was perfect for a weekend away with my daughter. We headed into harpers ferry (just a 10 minute drive) for white water rafting. The local restaurants ( walking distance) were great- boxcar was a fav for delicious burgers and beans at the belfry for cool ambiance. Brunswick is hilly so the walk is short but a good workout! The apartment was well stocked with coffee, tea and even cooking spices. Clean and comfy and very aesthetically pleasing. '

'This was such a great property. The views of the river were amazing, and we even saw a few young foxes playing nearby. There was a little miscommunication right at the beginning of the stay, but Joe was really flexible and sorted everything out right away. Would happily stay here again. '

'this location was absolutely perfect for my son and I trip to Harper ferry. We knew we wanted to be right in lower town near the old buildings and the river and it didn’t disappoint. Well lower town doesn’t offer a wide variety of restaurants that stay open super late. The ones that do are more than adequate. I highly recommend stopping by the rabbit hole and battleground coffee. The only thing I will say about this VRBO is that if you were over 6 feet tall, you may feel a little claustrophobic...

'The apartment was exactly like the pictures on the listing. It was in a great location for exploring Shepherdstown as well as Antietam, Sharpsburg & surrounding areas. Zeb & Jennifer were both very helpful & super responsive to questions. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend Potomac Ridge Brewing and Alma Bea for food & drinks! '
