'This place is a gem. We booked the 2 bed scoria suite. The first thing that stands out is the view from the cabin. It’s right along by the river and it’s absolutely stunning. The kitchen is kitted out with all you need. If I was to find one negative it’s the blinds are very light so it’s very bright in morning. Bring an eye mask. Overall, I highly recommend this place '

'Beautiful little getaway, with its own private waterfall only a 5 minute walk away. Hosts were very responsive and helpful, and even suggested some awesome activities in the area. The space was well kept and tidy, and the outhouses were even kinda cozy (if you can call an outhouse cozy!) My boyfriend and I hope to make this visit an annual thing. Thanks Sleepy Bear Retreat for a great stay.'

'Wonderful cabin, excellent location nestled in the trees close to Kimberly Riverside Campground. Hot tub and deck, BBQ were amazing. Beds comfy, cabin well stocked and clean. Showers had great pressure. Smart TVs with Apple TV for more apps. About a 5 -10min walk down to the river - a bit hilly but you could drive and park closer if needed. Only thing missing is that there no where to have a campfire, but not much missed with everything else there is to do! '

'Overall the place was exactly as advertised. It's a decent drive back to Kamloops for supplies, so make sure you prepare to stay out there. There's lots of hiking nearby and a lake with a beach. We had our dog with us and had no issues with the facilities. We would recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a bit. '

'We had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful, clean, and with an amazing view. There was plenty of room. Check in and out were seamless. Our kid was delighted with the loft. Maria anticipated our needs, and was available if needed. She checked in regularly, without being intrusive at all. She even brought us fresh basil and scapes from her garden. Honestly, there was nothing that I would have wanted different. We will be back. '

'We loved the small quaint cabin. For being near the owners, it still was very private and felt like our own little piece of paradise. The lake is absolutely stunning, and the dock is so nice. My grandma has limited mobility so she couldn’t do the trip down to the dock, but everything in the cabin was perfectly accessible otherwise. Janine was super friendly and accessible. If I didn’t live so far away I would 100% come back! The only thing we wished was that we stayed longer!!!'
