'Avoid, avoid, avoid. Quite possibly the worst place I have stayed. It's not 'normal pub noise', it's club music from 15years ago playing until around midnight. No soundproofing. Room was filthy, hairs on top of the bed (didn't lift the quilt to see what was underneath); floor hadn't been vacuumed, was dirty and heavily stained: toilet hadn't been flushed, let alone cleaned, whatever was in there had been festering for what looked like a week. No air con and no fan in the room. Room felt...

'Prima herberg en pub met een redelijke keuken. Het leek op de website wel idyllischer dan in werkelijkheid. De Inn ligt aan aan doorgaande weg en je kunt er niet te voet bij vandaan. Dus vanuit de Inn een stukje wandelen was niet mogelijk. Wat echter belangrijk voor ons was was dat er in de Inn geen enkele kamer was waar een bed beschikbaar was dat langer was dan 1,90m. Ik ben bijna 2 m lang en ben dus te lang voor deze bedden. De breedte van slechts 1,40m is voor jonge, niet al te grote mensen...

'What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return.'

'what do you expect from a hotel which is very cheap. we found it out and it became true. the room was not in a very good condition, not very proper and not been cleaned during the four nights we were there. dogs in another room which made a lot of noise and a strange machine outside which also made a teriible noise even till late. 'We stayed in a ground floor twin room at the Cromwell Arms during the heatwave of July 2026. The room was pleasant, the beds comfortable. Whilst there was an additional heater in the wardrobe, a fan would have been gratefully received. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All the staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. Overall a good place to stay.'
