'Pool area was very dirty, water was so cloudy it looked like milk. Breakfast was good until we saw the breakfast attendant sit on a chair , wipe her shoe down then went and wiped a table with the same cloth rag absolutely disgusting! Have to say the gentleman who ran the front desk was very nice he came and fixed our tv that wasn’t working it only took over an hour. I guess for the convenience of being across the street from kings dominion it was good!'

'Do not look at pictures! Must have been done many, many years ago! Arrived around midnight after driving for 8 hours. Very tired, but needed a rest. Room was old and had a musty smell. TV was horrible! Fuzzy picture. Bathroom looked pretty clean until toilet didn't flush. Water had been turned off to toilet. If we used toilet we had to get water from sink to put into toilet tank. Turned water to tank on and realized why it was turned off. Ran all night.slept with clothes on above sheets. We had...

'What we loved: Beautiful property, amazing patio and fire pit, felt very private, hot tub and sauna were very relaxing, trail was lovely, pizza oven was a fun novel activity despite user error, great opportunity to reconnect and slow down Suggestions for improvement: provide oven-safe pans for cooking, add curtains for privacy or blocking sunlight in the morning, garage door was impractical for accessing patio, would have loved extra pizza supplies since our attempt at using the pizza oven...

'Cockroaches. Disgusting. It was our only option to stay at 1am after driving all day and we stayed to sleep for 4 hours but could barley do it as soon as we go into the hotel the front desk guy isn’t there and there’s a sign to call a number , we call it and then he comes out of a random room hair a mess like he just woke up . We get our keys quickly and head to our room, as soon as we open the door a moldy musty smell hits us in the face. We close the hotel door and there’s a massive cockroach...

'The heat/cool mechanism workedand was quiet. The room was clean, had new towels, shower was spotless clean. There was a faint odor if smoke from previous time occupant. It was not a string odor. '
