'Nice smart space above shops with an easy 10 minute walk to Buxton centre. Nice kitchenette set up with everything you could need. Unfortunate that we went during the exceptional heatwave and consequently it was uncomfortably warm in there. At night windows needed to be open and the road has a lot of heavy traffic on it from very early in the morning and late night revellers until the early hours. So that maybe worth bearing in mind if you are going when it's hot if at all a light sleeper.'

'We spent 2 weeks in September, my husband and I and a further guest, who stayed for 10 days. We were very satisfied with the apartment, which was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely view of the countryside from the lounge. Buxton was in walking distance (15 minutes). The apartment was nice and warm and the kitchen was well stocked, which included a generous deep freeze compartment. What we also liked was the fact that there was a space to park the car off road. We loved the Peak...

'Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi.
Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation.'

'Id you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the heart of the English countryside, Rose cottage is absolute perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its storybook setting, surrounded by rolling Hills, wildflowers, and the soft sound of the River Wye. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, blending, rustic character with thoughtful modern touches. You can tell every detail from the cozy fireplace to the well stocked kitchen was arranged with care.We enjoyed coffee in the...
