'Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.'

'We stayed here for 3 nights in the room on the highest floor which had a lovely view of coloured houses and partial sea view. The bed was very comfy and bathroom very spacious. Simon was very friendly and helpful. Very good location, just a 5 minute walk from town and a huge car park just a minute walk away. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be coming back!'

'Very well-situated in centre of town, with shops and restaurants on doorstep. Room unpretentious but everything worked as it should. Bed very comfortable. The pub downstairs was friendly and good to sit in at the end of evening.'

'An absolutely beautiful hotel from the moment you enter the grounds. Wonderfully renovated property with gorgeous understated style everywhere. Our bedroom was luxurious and comfortable with complimentary minibar and home made snacks. Very welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast and dining were of a good standard in great surroundings. Couldn’t fault the hotel. Will return.'

'We had a wonderful short stay and couldn’t have asked for better service. The staff were exceptional, incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations. I needed lactose-free milk for breakfast, and they actually went out to get it and had it back within minutes — such a thoughtful touch! The rooms and surrounding areas were spotlessly clean, and the whole place felt like the perfect little hideaway while still being close to all the great local spots. We loved every minute of our...
