'Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.'

Just a few minutes walk from a large public car park (on-street parking is very limited) and the large, sandy South Beach, the guest house is a short walk from the town centre. The check-in process was very straightforward. The room was clean, tidy and well-equipped - it even had a fridge!
