'The check in was easy, the house was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location. The electric fireplace was great for warming up after a cold walk on the beach. One thing to note if you are bringing dogs is that when you arrive, there is a sign asking you to try not to leave your dog unattended in the house and the info book says not to let your dogs on the furniture. Both are typically listed on the property description and would have been good to know before booking. '

'My husband and I had a great weekend stay! The location was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop for breakfast and then took our bikes down the beautiful Shining Sea Trail to Woods Hole for the day. We did not need to drive at all. Listing was accurate, and check in was easy. Shared bathroom was well managed. The hosts were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.'

'The owners were immediately accommodating when I requested an early check-in, AND when I put the wrong check-in date at the time of booking!! This property is a hidden gem. There are 11 rentals, each visually different but VERY thoughtfully designed and decorated to allow for optimal personal space in a small setting. They are beautifully updated and extremely clean. Welcome basket with snacks and water were nice personal touches. This suite had its own outdoor private space which I can only...

' Maybe a bar to steady oneself in the shower? (Great shower!). Kitchen perfectly equipped. I liked the many unobtrusive labels on everything. The beach space is private and natural. Comfy beach chairs. I simply loved it. Pleasantly euro and spotlessly clean. Another little blanket for sitting on the couch would be nice. Plenty of Capey things to do plus food stores nearly. This is a jewel.'

'The Velvet Crab was just as pictured. What a haven. We wanted to do some different exploring on the Cape, since it's been a few years, but it was really hard to leave this sanctuary. We'd go out for a few hours and then couldn't wait to come back and just hang out. Loved the kayak, being on the pond, just everything. We'd love to come back. Tara and her people were very responsive, and we appreciated them letting us check in a few hours early. '

'Our host was very responsive and all the instructions were clear. The house was immaculate and a perfect spot of a winter getaway. Would stay again!'

'Kitchen could use a k cup coffee maker and large frying pan. Light bulb on microwave was out. Clock on stove was broken and the stove said hot surface even when it was never turned. Upstairs toilet kept running. Basement carpet had some stains. All just minor things that need attention. Overall really loved the place. Hope to come back next year!'
