'Bien que jolie avec une belle terrasse extérieure, cette maison manque d’entretien : porte de placard branlante, 2 lits qui grincent au moindre mouvement empêchant de dormir, un robinet de lavabo déscellé, micro-ondes en panne, porte d’entrée difficile à ouvrir, et interrupteurs difficiles à trouver. Nous avons été aussi un peu déçu de l’accueil froid de la propriétaire, pas franchement à l’écoute et peu prévenante: nous avons certes eu 1h de retard sur l’heure d’arrivée mais personne pour nous...

'A great villa with real jungle feel!! We loved the house setting, great space and bedrooms, very clean when arriving and ultimate communications with their team. Rooms are large and bathrooms stable and nice. Built around two big jungle trees just nice too look at. Kitchen very well equipped. Enough towels and nice sheets. ACs good and warm showers, even outside shower! Some drawbacks, location is a bit out of the way, located in forest nicely but dark, therefor also hardly used cold pool. Beach...

'This is a great villa, very stylish and very convenient to everything surrounding the area. Shelly is extremely friendly and very helpful with local advice and assistance. My wife and I were in Costa Rica for our anniversary and my birthday. The fishing tour Shelly suggested was outstanding. We definitely enjoyed Puerto Pirata Tiki Bar for cocktails and watching one of the prettiest sunsets we have ever seen, which we visited 3 times during our stay. Pura Vida.'

'Five stars for the overall experience, location, and especially the staff, even though the actual accommodation is quite basic. The main listing makes it sound like this is a whole house, but it’s actually two completely separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and no connecting door between the two, then the kitchen and seating areas are outside. (This is more obvious in the detailed description if you click through and read the whole thing, but could be clearer in the main description...
