'Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.'

'This is a lovely old pub in the middle of Warwick on Eden. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was cosy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed one night as we were heading to Scotland. We had a lovely evening meal, which I had pre booked. We had the flat iron steak which was cooked to perfection. Breakfast the following morning was equally as good, and freshly cooked to order.'

'Staff were friendly and helpful from checking in to food services. Room was a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with choices on a pre ordered menu which meant service was perfect. Views of mountains from some rooms and also from outside sitting area. Options to dine in the evening available with a good choice of food and highly recommend the steak pie. Lovely quiet location and perfect for visiting places'

'Good central location for overnight stop in Penrith with parking. Decent size room, reasonably clean and quiet. Stair carpet filthy though needs replacement. Tea and coffee sachets not replenished, tollet roll holder hanging off wall.'

'Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10'
