'We have enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house is situated on a high hill, therefore quite cool at night. The owners and caretakers are wonderful. The interior and exterior is done in a traditional and elegant style. All rooms were very clean. The are mosquito screens on all windows. Also shutters. 'Na een onverharde goed berijdbare weg doemt na zo'n 2 kilometer het toegangshek van Villa Andrei op dat toegang geeft tot een geweldig familiehuis, dat ooit gebouwd is door opa. 'A perfect villa for a large family. The air conditioning in the upstairs and first floor sleeping areas worked very well. There is no AC in the basement sleeping area or the common areas, but they remained relatively cool. The outdoor area has a great pool, patio, and olive grove/garden. The location is very secure and within easy driving of pretty much anywhere you may want to visit in Tuscany. Do yourself a favor and avoid booking through VRBO. They will charge you hundreds of dollars in fees...

"We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7 and 8 PM). Some time you just want a nice drink or snack earlier times. Another point I noticed was that the floor in the bedroom was quite dusty upon arrival. I have to say, these 2 points of feedback would not take away my full recommendation for this place. We loved every second of our stay. "
