'We had a great stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Monticello, Iowa. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and had ample parking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, and the beds and pillows made for a great night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice way to start the morning before getting back on the road. One thing to note for future guests is that the hotel has only two floors...

'The staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. We interacted with housekeeping, maintenance, check-in people. All helpful and pleasant. My only complaint was the parking area. We have a large truck and to me it was a very narrow space'

'The room had a smell to it, not a bad smell but, not a good smell either. I was not able to adjust the thermostat for the a/c. To raise the temperature because it was too cold the heat would come on. The exterior back door to the parking lot did not lock. The room was not like the picture on line. The bathroom was half painted. Not enough seating for breakfast.'

'It is a good hotel and I would consider staying there again. I have two complaints; the first is that the TV never really worked properly while we were there. It kept losing the signal. The second issue is that the housekeeper would blast his (bad) music while he was working. It was so loud that you could hear it down the hallway even with the room door closed. That definitely was not very relaxing.'
