'It was refreshing to find out that the hotel is American-owned and operated. I loved our cozy room and the toiletries provided. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. My 6-year-old enjoyed the pool so much. The front desk staff were kind enough to allow us a late checkout so my daughter could spend more time having fun in the pool.'

'We were greeted warmly at reception and upon questioning about restaurants nearby, a few were recommended and we chose one. We were impressed with the room cleanliness. Upon returning for the evening, we sat outside for a while in front of the fire pit, a nice amenity. The breakfast was also superb for its content, and the service person was very attentive. The other staff in the hallways were also cordial. We will return if we're in the area again.'

'Unexpectedly had to pay a $100 "deposit" supposedly just a "hold" not a "charge" not something I had planned for. Checking in about midnight after a delayed flight - quite a rude awakening. Reservation clerk was not friendly or personable - more like a cop! Room including bathroom was vey clean (small). I thought my reservation was for 2 queen beds - we got 2 double beds. Hallway carpet looks like it has seen better days. We did not use pool. '

'We have stayed at Merry Manor for years and it has gone downhill. Rooms need to be updated. The pool and hot tub area is over crowded. The hot tub jets weren’t working, water was dirty. Inexpensive option for a winter getaway with a year round outdoor pool, but not my first choice anymore. The staff is friendly and helpful!'

'The staff are exceptionally friendly here and the hotel is spotless. Big room. The walls are covered with local art for sale. This place is a gem.'
