Kom als onze gast, ontspan en geniet van een geweldig uitzicht op Lake Norman door te verblijven in ons huis met 3 slaapkamers! Als je de voordeur binnenkomt, krijg je dat soort lodge-gevoel met een enorme open plattegrond, een muur van ramen aan het meer, hoge plafonds en prachtig zichtbare balken. De woonkamer is volledig open en biedt een grote stroom vanuit de keuken, de eetkamer en de grote ruimtes. Het is een perfecte plek voor families en vrienden om weer in contact te komen en er een paar dagen van te genieten! Aan de oever van het pand kunt u genieten van enkele van de beste uitzichten op het Normanmeer dat beschikbaar is door te genieten van een enorme beschutte veranda met veel buitenzitplaatsen voor alle gasten.

Op het hoogste niveau vindt u de hoofdslaapkamer en vervolgens een logeerkamer met 2 stapelbedden. Op het lagere niveau vindt u via een aparte ingang een volledig gescheiden suite met een slaapkamer en een eigen badkamer.

Heb je een boot of jetski? Neem het mee en bewaar het op het privédok op het terrein. Wilt u in plaats daarvan een boot of ski huren? Laat het ons weten en we zullen u in contact brengen met een geweldig lokaal bedrijf dat de boot voor u naar het dok zal brengen, u door alles heen loopt en de boot / ski ophaalt na voltooiing van uw reservering - superhandig!

Family getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property! The house had everything we needed to comfortably stay with our four children, 2 dogs and grandparents. The separate suite downstairs was a perfect area for my parents to have their own space while my family and I took over the upstairs! Pros: great location, communication was excellent, fully equipped with all kitchen essentials, fans, baby items etc.They even had pet crates and dog beds for pet use if needed My only con and advice for the host would be to update the dock area and have it cleaned for cob webs prior to guest check in. We had several cob webs to break up and spiders to rid of before allowing our small children on the dock. There are also several nails popped up which could really hurt bare feet of all ages. We used the dock every day and night to swim and fish. It was fully functional but again could use some work. We also brought our boat with us so use of the covered dock area was really nice. Some hooks and storage to hang life jackets and fishing gear on the dock would be a nice addition so guests do not have to bring everything up to the house each evening. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Amazing View

We had a wonderful stay! When we arrived, there was a welcome tray of goodies to enjoy and the basic paper products were provided so we didn't have to rush to the grocery. The living area was wide open and could accommodate our entire family in a variety of different activities, but we could still be together. The view from the back porch was even better than expected! The host couldn't have been easier to communicate with and we would highly recommend this property!

Back Porch Bliss

Lake Norman is amazing and this property has you feeling spoiled being right on the lake. The house has 2 bedrooms on the upstairs with 2 bedrooms. The downstairs area with the third bedroom is completely separate with no access from the inside. The kitchen/living are is a large open floor plan. The kitchen is full of almost everything one would need. There are also games and books to enjoy. It's a great property to families. No complaints.

Wonderful lake cottage

The house was just charming. All of the beds and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen is modern and well stocked for most any cooking need. The dock and fire pit areas are great and the kayaks and paddle board were used most every day. We were there for the 4th of July week and we had great views of fireworks 4 nights that were spectacular! We would definitely stay here again.

Best Lake house experience!

This host pays attention to detail to create the best possible VRBO vacation for you. The house and location are second to none! The property is gorgeous and well maintained. Coffee is provided, and the kitchen is stocked with all the kitchen utensils and things you need to create family meals. There’s even a well stocked assortment of herbs and spices! There are plenty of towels, beds are comfortable, and everything was clean! We enjoyed the wrap around porch, the ping pong table, and kayaks. We did not get a chance to boat this trip, but we’d love to come back and take advantage of the boat drop off arrangement that the host can connect you with. We loved Charlotte, but fell in love with lake Norman and Mooresville. Who knows…we may be back in 10 years to retire in this area.

The house is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful setting. The house contains every amenity, plus a kitchen with every utensil needed. Very clean & the fully enclosed wrap around porch is breathtaking overlooking the lake. The welcome basket was a wonderful surprise too!

Lake Perfection

We stayed here for one glorious week in August and it was as close to perfect as we could get. The photos accurately represent the property. The wrap around screened in porch with the lake views made this place for me! The open floor plan inside was so nice. No one ever felt closed off. There is tons of natural light too! The large island in the kitchen provided a great space for cooking. The dock, fire pit, and lower level suite were great. The location is convenient and the neighborhood is quiet. I would def recommend this property and Southern Charm Retreats. They were easy to work with and responsive!

Peaceful Lake days

This house sits on an elevated lot which enhances the views and the breezes of the lake. A small island 200 meters away helps to keep the waters calm around the dock and the large cove beyond the island was perfect for boating/water sports. The inside of the house is very nicely renovated/updated. The only suggested improvement would be to fix the icemaker - an expected utility for the weekly cost if this rental. Overall we had a fantastic week and would highly recommend this property.

Very impressed with the property views, interior Great Room to-die-for. Tranquil setting. Wonderful kitchen with a totally relaxing atmosphere. The lower Suite was great for my Mother to relax and very peaceful.
