'Hotel staff are lovely! Rooms are a-bit dated, as a youngish couple we think it could have done with a refurb, more suited for the older generation but it was a nice stay! Breakfast was ok, the swimming area isn’t very big, if there was beds to lay on I would have stayed in the pool area longer and relaxed. Overall good stay. '

'Excellent stay as usual. Staff are very well trained and deliver excellent service. There was an issue with our aircon and they weren’t sure how long it would take to fix so they moved us to an equivalent room with no trouble or hesitation at all. The hotel and grounds are immaculate, the cleaning and gardening staff must work very hard. We’re only down the road in Liverpool, but try and pop over to doubletree Chester a couple of times a year for special occasions.'

'Came with my husband and 2 children 4&5) and my inlaws. Husband and father inlaw played golf...they had a fantastic time. Mother in law and i took the children swimming and went to the park. Lots to do wven though the children were too young for the big activities. We couldn't eat at the main restaurant in the evening as there was no space for the 6 of us which was disappointing. I think guests at the hotel should have some sort of priority to dine first. We went to a local pub for our evening...

'We LOVED our visit to this adorable flat in Chester! Every detail was top notch with comfortable bedding, beautiful decorations, and perfect amenities. Lisa was super helpful and quick to communicate before and during our stay. The location in this adorable village exceeded our expectations as we were steps away from the entrance to the city walls and shopping, dining, and sightseeing. We arrived from London via the train which was just a short cab drive away. We HIGHLY recommend this lovely...
