Landmark Victorian Home

De Davis Victoriaanse boerderij is 1892 mijlpaal thuis. Het is gelegen in het prachtige Glen Ellyn, bekend om zijn schilderachtige binnenstad en Vintage Homes. USA Today koos daarom voor Glen Ellyn als de pittoreske stad Illinois. De Davis House is gelegen op een zeer rustige cul-de-sac. Haar voortuin set terug van Davis Terras, draagt ​​bij aan de grandeur van dit prachtige huis. Stappen van Babcock Grove Park evenals Lake Ellyn Park.

De woning heeft veel originele kenmerken en heeft alle hardhouten vloeren op het hoogste niveau. In de woonkamer vindt u de open haard en een grote plasma-tv met surround sound te vinden. A Tribute to the Victorian Era

We were attending a graduation in Chicago and decided that while not in town, this big, beautiful place would be a welcomed escape. Boy, were we right. The level of detail and warmth of the home surpassed our expectations. Great House!

The Davis House is wonderful—large, spacious—and just as described in the listing. It really is fully equipped with just about anything one would need. Beds are comfortable, water pressure is great and the laundry room on the second floor is terrific. William is a gracious owner and answered all our questions promptly. Amazing home. More stunning than pictures. Lots of places to gather as a group or have solitude. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Neighborhood quiet and walkable. We visited family in Glen Ellyn and adored the Davis House! William was a pleasure to work with, and the small dog decorations made us feel right at home with our 3 pugs and Lhasa apso. Family gathering to visit oldest son who lives in Chicago-land area. This was the perfect property for all of us (5 adults) to gather. A home with plenty of room and an abundance of charm! My senior citizen cousins and I stayed at the Davis house for three nights. It was LOVELY! The architecture, furnishings and amenities were even nicer than listed in the ad. Wow! What a gem!

This property was a delight from beginning to end. It is way bigger than it looks in the pics, the beds are SO comfortable, and it is in a beautiful neighborhood walkable to a little downtown area. The kids loved exploring the beautiful yard. The kitchen was stocked like someone actually lives and cooks there, none of the sparse beat up equipment you often find in other rentals. My only caution is to make sure everyone in your party is steady on their feet. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, in the way that antique stairs are. We would love to stay again when in the area!
