'Great hotel, staff, service and facilities'

'The room was really hot as there is no A/C and the window only opened about 2 inches. However, there was a fan in the wardrobe. Sadly, though, the fan operated on a two hour timer, so I was up every two hours or so turning it back on. Not conducive to a good night's sleep. The bed was comfortable enough, though I don't like feather pillows. The shower curtain in installed too far into the bath and constantly sticks to you. Annoying! 'Staff were amazing and attentive. Had food from in the bar and breakfast both very good. Requested connecting room and that’s what we got. Rooms on the small side and compact but everything you need except no fridge. Great location. '

We had a birthday dinner party for 12 adults in the Garden Room and we were looked after incredibly well. Lovely scenery at no extra charge! Hugely recommended. Best to stay in the main hotel if you can rather than the wagons or sheds. '
