'We hadden een ruime kamer met WC en bad. Het zag er allemaal prima uit, en superschoon. De bedden waren goed, maar vreemd genoeg was de ene matras veel dikker dan de andere, zodat het voor twee zware mensen misschien minder prettig is. Ontbijt is niet bij de prijs inbegrepen, maar voor 4 pond beschikbaar, en uitstekend.'

'Quiet and well appointed room. Great breakfast.'

'This property is in an excellent location for Chichester centre and for Goodwood Racecourse. The owner was lovely. Friendly and approachable. Cleanliness is a priority for us and this accommodation was first class. Breakfast options were varied to suit all tastes and we loved the fresh fruit (not always the case in many places we have visited). It was a relaxing environment to start the day, especially chatting about Art. We have learned so much about Sculpture and certain Sculptors after our...

'Ideal stay.. clean rooms.. lovely polite staff..wonderful breakfast..hotel located close to coastal walks which was what we were looking for..'

'I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2.'

'Gastvrij ontvangen, kamers in aparte huisjes aan de achterzijde, prettig want de inn ligt aan vrij drukke weg. Zelfs eigen zitje. Heerlijk gegeten en prima ontbijt. '

'Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - food and amenities were really good'

'Very friendly welcome. A very comfortable stay. Thank you'

'Lovely property, very friendly hostess and a smashing breakfast! Super stay thanks!'

'This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.'

'The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.'

'Absolutely wonderful stay for a short stay. The only fault were the pillows…felt like sleeping on a cement bag but that’s a personal preference .'

'Uiterst vriendelijke eigenaars en personeel. Zeer behulpzaam. We kregen goede tips over de omgeving. Zeer rustige omgeving. Wij zijn hier 4 dagen geweest en voelden ons erg welkom. De lounge was geweldig. Zelfs de open haard werd aangestoken. Goed ontbijt. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf!'

'Prima ontvangst en een mooie kamer en zeer vriendelijke medewerkers '

'For those planning to visit the dockyard, you can't get any better. We had a great view of HMS Warrior from our window. The hotel is directly across the street from the rail station and the bus station and about 100 yards from the main entrance to the dockyard. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The room was very modern and well kept.'

'Ver helpful in arranging the parking. Well-kept home. Thanks'
