'Just DON’T. We were misled by pics and text - paid £102 for a shoebox room with minimal facilities and staff not overly helpful. We chose as it looked like they had a Greek restaurant plus steaks - turned up to be told they only do pizzas! We went somewhere else to eat. No breakfast as we are told the toaster isn’t working! Total joke of a place. Didn’t even give them any trade arms the bar. Never to return. '

My only feedback would be there there seemed to be a certain ventilator fan hum throughout the night ; we got used to that but the establishment might want to check that - Thanks for a lovely stay!'

'Great little pub with large outside seating area. Pizza night Fridays & very nice too. Room very comfy a little warm being at the top of the building but had a good air con fan. Probably not a common problem in this part of the world!!!'

'We were the only guests when visiting during our hike on the Cotswold way. Although they serve no meals on Mondays our stay was excellent! Our room was fantastic and the staff great! '

'Such a nice and cosy little hotel. It's like an Inn, which is as said the oldest in the UK. You really breathe the middle ages, so awesome. Breakfast and dinner are super. Most friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but that's just fine because that fits such an historic place. Together with the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds, highly recommended. '
