'This was a great property centrally located in Wales from castles and hiking. Clean and comfortable! Great view out the front of the water with walking promenade. Loved it!'

'The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! '

'Besides a very cosy cottage with a great welcome package and very friendly villagers, Al turned out to be our holiday saver when our car broke down on a Sunday evening in the middle of nowhere. He picked us up and arranged the local garage to fix our car the next day. We felt very much at home!'

'My husband loves steam trains so staying in the porter’s lodge right on the platform was an ideal choice. Sadly we were too early in the season to see or ride on steam trains but it was still fun to see the diesel ones. The cottage was larger than I thought… perfect for the 2 of us. Large well equipped kitchen (a guide on using the cooker would have been useful but we coped very well) and lounge with sofa, arm chair and wood burner which we enjoyed on one evening.
