'My husband loves steam trains so staying in the porter’s lodge right on the platform was an ideal choice. Sadly we were too early in the season to see or ride on steam trains but it was still fun to see the diesel ones. The cottage was larger than I thought… perfect for the 2 of us. 'De cottage is voorzien van alles wat je maar nodig hebt. Prachtig uitzicht. Je hoort alleen wat schapen en soms een haan. Op loopafstand van een heerlijke pub. Eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk, zijn zelfs bereid om naar de pub te rijden bij slecht weer. Prachtige omgeving!'

'The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! '
