'We had a very very nice stay of one night during our Welsh road trip. Very friendly staff. Everything very well organised even if it was very busy on the Saturday night. Good food for diner, excellent breakfast. If you are looking for a superb inn in original style and in a very nice place, this is it.'

'Beautifull venue, great and very friendly personell. Great room. One minor point, we had a room in the attic and with 30+ and only a ventilator is was very very hot for a long time into the night. But that is the only minor point the staff made up for it in friendlyness and service.'

'Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. 'The rooms are very comfortable, interestingly decorated, and well equipped with plug outlets, etc. Only negative is that meal service ends at 8pm in the restaurant, and road traffic can be a bit loud (if you are sensitive).'

'Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. '
