'We loved Pelican's Perch. Our usual house in that same neighborhood was booked for the week we wanted so we chose this little cottage. It has fantastic views, even from the inside you can see everything. Furniture was comfortable, clean and the cottage itself was clean. Very cozy! The king bed was not that great, in our opinion. The beach area and dock are great. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the chairs provided. We also brought our own chairs and sat under the house in the afternoons...

'We wanted to be close to Fairhope for a weekend with some of our grandchildren. It was just right. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. It is a great place to stay for all ages. I would recommend a stay here. '

'Communication with host was great. Thank you leaving us the basics (hand soap, dish soap, furniture covers for the dogs, beach towels, toilet paper, and paper towels). Everything was “clean”; however, place could use a deep cleaning. Price was decent for accommodations and for it being pet friendly. We will return and rent again. Place could use some upgrades. Locks need to be changed they are rusted and did not lock/unlock with ease'

'Communication with host was excellent as was the check in and out process. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is beautiful with a magnolia tree, pine tree and wisteria in full bloom hanging over the fence (which is in need of repair—stated in listing). It was easy walking distance to the beach—approximately 0.5 miles to the middle beach parking lot and another 0.4 miles to the water’s edge. It is a quiet neighborhood. The floor had not been swept well prior to us...

'My family had an excellent spring break stay in this home! It is roomy, comfortable and easily accommodates large families, especially if you are bringing pets. We found it very clean and inviting. The absolute BEST part is the location, just off the sandy shores of the Gulf. The neighborhood is nice and walkable, again very convenient if you are bringing pets. We will absolutely stay here again!'
