Rooms are large and the area is also lovely to stay for a couple days. We also rent bikes from the hotel, you can cycle all the way to other beaches.

'Very pleasant contact with hotel beforehand and during the stay. Nice looking artsy rooms, nice pool with hottub, i really enjoyed the stay a lot. That the parking is not included is weird. Almost Every guest has to have a car to get to the hotel and get around LA. '

The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with very comfy beds. There was a microwave and fridge. The AC cooled the room down very quickly. There was plenty of free parking. 'This is an older hotel but has been updated with fresh paint. Rooms look light and airy. Underground parking was nice, not having to worry about car being parked on the street. Although breakfast is advertised there was no breakfast and no coffee, only hot water, for the 2 days we were there.'

'This place is .6 miles from the beach! At night, I could hear seals! This definitely is a 5 star type of place, but the price is reasonable, I felt very safe as a solo traveler, and check-in was a breeze. The grout around the tub needs to be redone in the bathroom...but other than that, the room was clean. The bed was comfy and they had plenty of shampoo, body wash, conditioner and lotion which is always appreciated. This place is right on Pacific Coast Highway, so traveling around is a breeze. '
