'The Goodwin is a shell of its former self. Bar is not open on Sundays or Mondays, breakfast was worse than a Comfort Inn. Zero amenities. The Valet staff was wonderful. The rest of the staff was next to useless. Asked for 1 hour late check out and was just summarily told no.'

Eten is prima in de Ierse pub in Pratt st. Of in het Italiaanse restaurant aan de overkant. Voor de snelle hap zit er een pizza take away maast het hotel. '

'This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.'

'Staff is AWFUL. Definitely the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Check in is 3 PM. We checked in at 3:20 PM and they told us to come back in a few hours as our room was not ready. They had no solution until I asked if I can receive a discount as I was heading to a concert and wouldn’t be able to use my room until after midnight since it wasn’t ready. There was multiple check ins this happened with as we were checking in and management was trying to run out for the day to avoid helping paying guests....

'The staff was kind and helpful. The check in staff was one person training another and also working the bar and cafe. She was pleasant and friendly the whole time. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not! We were essentially just laying on the bed with no pillows because there was nothing to them. No support. The shower did not drain while showering. The hotel is close to a ton of amenities. '

'The room wasn't very clean, there were drinks left in the refrigerator, and something had been spilled in it that was not wiped out. The reservation said the room would be ready for check in at 3:00, but it wasn't ready until almost 4:00. The staff was apologetic and friendly, but overall a little disappointed.'

'Okay for a one night stay in order to be near family we were visiting. Room smelled musty, bathroom was good sized and seemed clean but room itself felt a bit shabby. Front desk staff member when we checked in was polite enough but not friendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there.'

'The hotel looks clean from the outside, the lobby and the hallways were messing looks like they didn’t even vacuum, the room we stayed in smelled horrible, had a mix of body odor and cat litter, the bed wasn’t stained so that’s good, but the fridge has some weird brown residue on the front and the bathroom countertop was stained as well, the fire alarm went off twice as well'
