'The property was cozy and secure. There is a loud bar across the street, which explains the earplugs provided within the room. The bathroom constantly smelled musty and dirty but visually appeared clean. I would probably stay elsewhere in the future, however this place was not bad a bad deal for the price. '

'Nice clean place with lots of amenities. We picked this place to stay with our two teen children so they could each have their own room, we had a rental car and parking is on the property, and it’s fairly close to downtown. It’s situated in a nice quiet family friendly neighborhood. Rather than try parking downtown we left the car there and took taxis to and from the Latin Quarter, which is about a 10 minute ride. 'This is a lovely place, however; we were unable to stay due to the front lock not working. It was stuck in the lock position and we could not close the door. The three of us each spent about 45 minutes trying to fix it so we could close the door. We tried calling the owner but at 9 or so at night were unable to get in touch. 'We stayed in the Friar Room. Joyce is super responsive and easy to communicate with. At the last minute, we decided to cancel our rental car and travel using tour companies instead. It can be difficult to get to and from this property without your own vehicle, so I would only recommend staying here if you have a car. 'After reading reviews of this property and seeing the overall rating of a 9.6, I figured that this would be a can’t miss opportunity.
