We were welcomed, on time, by the friendly and helpful representative from the office who unhesitatingly helped with our luggage up the winding and somewhat narrow and difficult stairs! The apartment building itself was easy to find, a short walk from the metro station which goes to and from the airport. Very convenient.
Situated on a pedestrian street, it is very close to the metro and train stations and around the corner from the Round Tower (well worth the climb up!). In a small building of 4 floors, there is one apartment on each of 3 above an optician's shop. We greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness of the two charming tenants on the third floor who warned us of their late and noisy party and who left a tin of delicious Danish sugar cookies at our door along with a note and ear plugs! We actually were not at all bothered by noise; good old-fashioned soundproofing of solid walls and floors.
We enjoyed the flower and fruit seller on the nearby square who opened for work earlier than much of "tourist" Copenhagen. No site of interest to visitors (or residents0 opens before 10.00 and all close at 17.00 making the tourist day too short when there is so much to see, visit and just wander IF - a big "if" - there aren't rain showers which we had every one of our 5 days.
The apartment is spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. It would have helped to have instructions for use of the dishwasher.
However, it is absurd to create a comfy corner to relax and put up one's feet on an l-shaped sofa bed where there is no (electric) lighting of any kind and no place to put a table, no matter how small. The kitchen faucet is hopelessly unstable which makes running the cold water annoyingly difficult; it needs attention. The bedside light in the smaller bedroom is much to dim for reading and needs to be replaced. The bathroom needs a bathmat or an extra towel to use on the floor to prevent slipping and falling.
We were just 2 people and had adequate room for clothes storage (drawers and hanging). Perhaps it could work for 3, possibly 4 people but it's unimaginable how 6 people would manage. There's barely room in the bathroom to hang towels for 2 people and no hooks in either bedroom. The beds are comfortable; the towel supply is minimal.
All that said, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the correspondence, instructions and information in advance of our arrival.
