'We had a wonderful stay at this newly renovated hotel, it’s truly beautiful, immaculate, and very thoughtfully designed. You can really feel the care that went into every detail. The food deserves a special mention: absolutely fantastic. We stayed for 7 nights and never once had the same thing at the buffet. Everything was delicious, original, and clearly prepared with creativity and quality in mind. The staff were incredible across the board, from front office to the bar and restaurant....

'Stayed for 8 nights in this lovely hotel and whished it could have lasted longer. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are decorated with authentic wooden floors and closets without skimping out on comfort. I don't recall ever having slept better in a hotel bed. I highly recommend everyone to come down from the beach resorts to this superb hotel to have a taste of the real Tenerife. I will surely come back upon my next visit to this Canary island.'

'For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony '

'Leuk karakteristiek hotel. Zonder navigatie heel moeilijk te vinden. Toegang alleen via heel nauwe straatjes met krappe bochten. Komend vanaf Calle Iglesias links afslaan bij bordje "Hotel Rural" (La raya wordt niet genoemd). Na de brug te zijn gepasseerd is er een afslag vna 270 graden naar rechts met wegwijzer naar "La Raya". Daar eerst doorrijden tot een pleintje om te draaien (de bocht is anders niet te nemen)'
