A lovely Homestay

The Merrily is conveniently located for the beaches, the shops and restaurants and all the attractions. The family are very friendly and helpful, assisting with tours and onward travel. They provide free pedal cycles for your use which makes getting about very easy. The rooms are large and comfortable. The shower was nice and hot and the WiFi was good. The breakfast was freshly made. The only issue is that a villa is being built next door causing a lot of banging and crashing. Hopefully this won’t go on to long. A very nice, good value place to stay.

Great homestay in Hoi An!

Great stay at Merrily Homestay! The staff was very helpful, the house was beautiful and the rooms were spacious with high ceilings. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was an air conditioner and ceiling fan in the room! Wifi was great. They have free bicycles and are only a 5-minute bike ride from the heart of Old Town, but there are many lovely restaurants and shops around the homestay as well. I would come back again! If you book with hotels.com, breakfast is not actually included in the price, so please note that. However, breakfast at Merrily is only 45,000 VND and was delicious.

Absolutely Perfect!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Merrily Homestay! It was perfect in every way. It was so clean and comfortable, the beds were amazing, and the staff and service were incredibly nice and helpful. It was in a great location, right outside the downtown area, so it was really quite and peaceful. It was also a super close bike ride to the beach. They had FREE bikes for us to use every day and complementary breakfast (yogurt and muesli were an option which was great as a vegetarian). I would recommend the Merrily Homestay to anyone visiting Vietnam. If I ever come back I will be sure to stay here again!

Decent stay_Tried and done, nothing too special

The room is spacious and clean with all minimal amenities. Breakfast is not included. They have free bikes for you to go around town. However, the location is not nearby anything. It is about 4 miles to the ancient town, 3 miles to the An Bang beach. There is no restaurant or any shop within the comfortable walking distance. If you have your own vehicle, then this is a good place because it is quiet and somewhat provides the "home stay" feeling instead of the corporate hotel setting.

방도 쾌적하고 물 수압도 좋고 따뜻한 물도 잘 나오고 모든것이 완벽했는데 마지막날 조식빵안에 개미들이 있어서 미안하다면서 바로 바꿔주시긴했는데 결국 새로 나온빵도 위에 개미토핑처럼 몇마리가 조그만하게 있어서... 그래도 조식에 과일이며 풍부하게 잘나와요! 빵을 따로 냉장보관 하시는게 아니여서 어쩔수없죠ㅎㅎ

Small but nice breakfast. Friendly staff and helped us arrange transport from Da Nang train station to Hoi An and also back to Da Nang airport. They also arranged a tour to My Son. Though it was a good price, it was not really worth the effort. Tour guide spoke very poor English and the lunch on the tour consisted only of beans, carrots and rice. Additionally, because our room was on the ground floor, bugs kept coming into the room. Other than that, great homestay with a 30 minute walk to Hoi An center. Room was modern with both a fan and AC which was great. I would stay here again.

What a “little gem” this Homestay is!

I visit Vietnam annually. While I have travelled widely in this country, this is the first time that I have used a Homestay. I stayed for a week, but next year I shall stay for several weeks. There are just five rooms available and mine was large, comfortable and sunny with a view over vacant land. It is the first time that I have had both aircon and a ceiling fan in my room. Television content was also the best that I’ve ever experienced here and the wifi never missed a beat! If that wasn’t enough, the hot water supply was excellent, too. The Manager, Mr Cuong, is a charming and helpful young man. His family members, who assist in the running of this Homestay, are delightful and good fun, too. The Homestay is equidistant between An Bang Beach and The Ancient Town. While it is an easy walk to both, bicycles are available for you to use. Overall, it is enormously good value for money; you’ll be able to stay for weeks rather than days! Forget resorts and expensive hotels. I’m sure that you will enjoy the experience and intimacy of the Hoi An Merrily Homestay.

Very nice homestay! it is outside of the center district, but easily accessible by the free bikes they provide (5 minutes to town, 15 to beach). The room way very spacious, and had a comfortable bed. The best part was the very attentive staff. Also, they provide a nice breakfast! Definitely would stay here again.

Nöjd och glad hotellgäst

Utmärkt hotell med hjälpsam personal som bidrog till att göra vistelsen i Hoi An till ett ställe att återkomma. Sängarna av hög kvalitet gjorde att man sov bra och var utvilad på morgonen.Med gratis cyklar var det enkelt att ta sig till beachen eller till gamla staden

很開心的五日會安

在會安歡樂家庭旅館這五個晚上，讓我在會安過得非常舒服。旅館不在鬧區，所以非常的安靜，旅館的員工與客人之間就像家人一樣，非常在意您的住宿品質，老闆也會根據您的需求，盡可能的協助您，不管是交通、出遊等等的資訊，他們都能協助提供。以後若再去會安的話，應該還是會去這裡住。

Super fint og hyggeligt homestay

Staff er super søde og snakkesalige. Værelset var stort og godt, god seng. Ligger midt mellem stranden og den gamle bydel, men de har cykler man kan låne gratis, hvilket et rigtig dejligt. Vi ville helt sikkert komme igen! :)

Big rooms for a small price!

Hoi An Merrily Honestay was one of our best accommodations in Vietnam! Lovely hosts, amenities and rooms. Loved exploring Hoi An on the bikes provided, and free breakfast never hurts. :) Would definitely stay again!

Dejligt homestay

Dejligt homestay med super service. Lokationen er lidt ude for byen, men man kan låne deres cykler kvit kg frit. Morgenmaden var også dejlig med et fint udvalg

宿は清潔で新しく、メイン道路から一本入っているので、とても静かでのどかな雰囲気です。スタッフも良く気が付く方で快適な滞在でした。

Great potential, would recommend

This is a new homestay and has the potential to be great. The house is in a quiet street, equal distance from the beach and the old town, both reachable by bike (provided free) in about 10-15 minutes, or a 30 minute walk. Good restaurants even closer if you don’t fancy the ride/ walk for food. The room I stayed in was great. Really big, super clean, and with a very comfortable double bed. The bathroom was clean and did the job, although the water was cold on one of the mornings. Breakfast provided is basic (eggs, bread, cheese) but ok. I stayed over Chinese New Year, so on a normal week things would probably work better. However, the owner and his brother split shifts between them to serve the guests. When they both went out, they locked the whole place up and there wasn’t much communication on when they were leaving the house. There was one occasion when I came back and couldn’t get in. I had to climb over the locked gate, and wake up one of the guests to come let me in. Not the end of the world, just inconvenient, and i mention it more as advice to the owners to sharpen up on that aspect of things. My only other complaint is on the last morning I was leaving early (but not that early!) and the brother was sleeping soundly downstairs. He woke up to let me out, but I wasn’t offered breakfast. Again not major as the Banh Mi on the street is awesome :) Would recommend despite these issues, as the guys are super friendly, and the house is really nice

A great find at the end of Town.

A new place which is very comfortable. very competitive rates and the staff are friendly. Not far from the road to the beach and not too far to walk into Hoi An Old Town. *their page mentions indoor pool but there is no pool.

Wonderful homestay

Highly recommend the homestay. We were impressed by the cleanliness and the comfort of the place as well as the kindness of the host who made our stay in Hoi An even better.
