'Holiday Inn in Dumfries is goed bevallen. '

'The room was lovely but the sink in the en-suite was tiny & hard to get a wash or clean your teeth in without getting water everywhere. The front of the sink unit was already water damaged. The shower was good & easy to use. The lady who greeted us was very helpful & friendly especially as we forgot to take our key out with us & had to ask her to let us in to our room. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. There was a good choice for breakfast which was cooked to order'

'This is a tale of two halves… We had booked for a deluxe family suite, that had been modernised and had two separate rooms. Unfortunately we arrived to find that our room was unavailable, due to a leak (awful Scottish weather) and they offered us either a deluxe family room (two doubles) or two adjoining rooms in the dated part of the hotel (the forest wing), which we opted for. Although it hadn’t seen a lick of paint or new furniture in decades, it was exceptionally clean and had everything we...

'Peaceful hotel, super friendly staff, beautiful surroundings '

'Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover.'

'A great location with Lovely staff:)'

'It’s an old building on a hill but the inside is nicely renovated and in a good state. Rooms are nice and clean and beds are very good. Breakfast is nicely done on request the English or Scottish way. Service is excellent and staff (Terry) is very friendly and helpful.'

'Heel schoon, fijne badkamer, goed ontbijt, prima locatie.'
