'We spent two nights at Tides Folly Beach right before Xmas and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again especially in the summertime. Clean room and friendly staff. Great view of the pier and beach from our room. We watched lots of surfers. Easy and free onsite parking. There are many cute restaurants nearby. We didn't get a chance to try it but Pinky's looks like a fun beachside restaurant right at the hotel. Quick 20-min drive to downtown Charleston. Our mini frig was making a noise...

'The French Quarter Inn was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Room was nice. They came. in every day to tidy room, and early evening left chocolates, and weather info for next day. There was a line to call with different pillow choices. Happy hour every afternoon was excellent as was breakfast. Lobby has small bar. Hotel is within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and the marketplace and the waterfront park. Would highly recommend this...
