'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Our room wasn't cleaned, the beds were possibly made (couldn't tell for sure) but there were crumbs and garbage from the previous occupants in several places. The bathroom had clumps of hair in corners that had been there for some time. All appliances had caked up dust on them so the room hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. Management was understanding to some extent and offered another room that was equally dirty. We ended up staying the night in the second room after cleaning the bath and...

'Lobby and breakfast area was hot , no A/C was working. Pool was closed. Air conditioning vents through building was dirty. Glass shower door hinge was half hang off wall from screws pulling out of mount. Tv remote had dead battery. Mini fridge would very cool bottle water over night , the control knob was broken off.'

'The hotel was extremely dirty. The first room they took me to was full of mold. It was so bad. It me. My daughter have an asthma attack .The manager changed my room to another room that wasn't as moldy but was still dirty. He refused to give me a refund.'
