'brief overnight stay. no issues'

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'The pool was closed our entire stay. We were first told because the PH was off, then it was due to a missing part. A mattress was stained in our room, and an insect fell out of the ice machine. Due to short staffing, we were told to ask the front desk for anything needed that room service would not be coming through daily.'

'We had rented 2 rooms. The first room everything seemed to work okay. But the 2nd room the refrigerator did not work at all. They had a small one in the room that worked okay. It also had an indoor pool that was not available for use at all. Not sure why the pool was not available. My great grandchildren were a little disappointed with no pool. We were not at the hotel except mainly for sleeping, we had many activities planned for the few days we were in Charleston. The air conditioning...

'This was a very sweet space. They thought of everything! There are a few things within walking distance, but it is a little farther out from the French Quarter area. That said, it is also more affordable than other places! There is offstreet parking, which is nice, but believe it when they say only small cars will fit!'
