'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'I loved the vintage feel of this hotel! Bed was super comfortable. No comment on the staff as we never interacted with them other than through texts. Rooms have a door code that was sent via text. While I had many text that provided the information that was necessary. I still like the old fashioned check in where I get to talk to a person. We wanted to check out the lounge but never found it. Just moved on to visit places in Park Circle instead. I would recommend this place for the cool vibe and...

'Property itself is excellent, but surrounded on all sides by 24/7 high traffic. If you are near Savannah and on second floor, expect occassional truck and siren sounds all night. This facility does not reset/light exchange rooms during a guests stay. You will have to request removal of trash, towel exchange. etc.'
