'Beautiful setting, but paper-thin walls made it hard to relax We booked Woodland Bluff Lodge for a romantic getaway based on the marketing — cozy suite, private balcony, secluded retreat — and the location itself is genuinely lovely. But the soundproofing (or complete lack of it) undermined the experience. 'The view from the room was beautiful. However, the patio outside needed substantial painting because the painting on the railing were flaking off. Also, the Inn room refrigerator was so noisy that I had to go out and bite earplugs so I could sleep.'

'This property was much less per night than surrounding venues and that's exactly what I was looking for.....a simple clean room with a nice bed to sleep in for an evening. None of the foo foo garbage that just jacks the price up or the virtue signaling "enviro resort" which is a joke!'

'Cozy room with very good bed. Temperature control was a bit difficult but manageable. I could have called the reception to help me with it (as was noted next to the remote) but I was too tired and slept well anyway.'

'The hotel is a traditional hotel and in someway a bit outdated. But just because of this, it has its charm. The location in Fort Townsend is awesome and the staff is friendly. The beds are good. We had a bathroom with a old-school bath. I can imagine that this for older people is a bit difficult to use as the shower because of the high step-in.'
