'The location was very nice. 5 minutes of walking to the trainstation. You sleep above a bar so they play very loud music in the evening. One of our bed didn't had a duvet. The floor was on some places very wet and some dirty places which we cleaned by ourselfs with a towel.'

'Check-in time was delayed for hours. when returned, room was still not ready so was allocated another. It had a worn-out bathroom. Free WiFi isn't free, it's "The Cloud" and I couldn't log-in to it anyway, so had no WiFi for 3 days. Had a problem with the Credit card payment not registering in their machine when checking-in, & upon returning home find 4 billing entries on my credit card statement instead of one???'

'Budget hotel met vlotte en super vriendelijke bediening. Eetgelegenheid voor lunch en diner aan democratische prijzen met ruim aanbod. Er zijn ook nog veel andere eetgelegenheden en enkele dipermarktjes in de Dukestreet om de hoek. Bovendien ligt het op wandelafstand van het centrum, station en ligt het op zeer korte afstand van enkele bushaltes. Verwacht echter geen luxe, de kamers zijn ok maar hier en daar hangen wat dingen los. Ik ga er in ieder geval in juli es terug voor een nachtje.'

'Helemaal geen negatief over deze plek, het was meer een uitweg i.v.m. overmacht op die bewuste dag, het personeel gemeld dat ik later dan 2300 uur aanwezig zal zijn en hun melden welke kamer je hebt en ze laten het weten dat je erin kan. 'The staff and food at dinner were lovely. Breakfast wasn’t run at quite the same standard with a lot of mistakes and delays on orders. The room was nice, although the finer details could do with a bit more attention (dust in corners, dirty grout in bathroom). 'Very comfortable, great staff, super convenient parking. Didn't eat here in the evening, but Breakfast was excellent and served with a smile, all the staff are spot on. Beware the full English, it's a whopper, there is a small English which will be my choice next time.'

'Really nice pub and easy check in. The food was really good. Unfortunately our room was above the stoof so we had a really bed smell in the room. The room was really bad ventilated therefore we had to open the windows for some air, only this air smelled terrible. Our toilet was not working and the lady from the hotel fixed it immediately only with a terrible aditude and left us with a wet bathroom and dirty floor and towels. 'Rooms were pleasant enough and staff that checked us in were really friendly. No food options but in walking distance to plenty of places and town centre. Nice touch to leave out cereals etc for breakfast. Mirrors in bedroom/bathroom quite small so wasn’t the easiest to get ready. Cleaning staff knocking on our doors at 9:30 to ask us to leave keys in door (fine) but also reminding us check out was at 10 made us feel like we were being rushed out of our rooms (we knew what time check out was)'

'Why do hotel designers think it is OK to have an ensuite bathroom with no door? A curtain is not an adequate replacement for a door. This was a big issue for us. Also the only seating in our room was 1 dining chair and 1 stool when there was room for something more comfortable. I don't want to have to sit on the bed, particularly at the price this hotel came in at. Everything else was very good.'

'Great location, right beside canal opposite the canal cafe. Chalet although dated , it is comfortable, clean and has all that you need. Will definitely be looking at booking here again, it’s great value for money.'
