'I arrived and was told my room had been sold, even though there were NO cars in the parking lot. The smell in the office was atrocious and the attendant was struggling to communicate with me, little English apparently. He seemed to be trying to sell me a different room but the looks and atmosphere of the place and his demeanor were so awful I told him I was not interested in a different room. He told me to go on the website and cancel, and when I did, he had marked me as a no show.'

'The hotel seems to be in the middle of updating. The bath/shower was updated, and the room was clean. But, the window drapes had areas where the lining was missing and light came through. The hvac system worked well. When we went to our 2nd floor room around 4pm a painter was still painting the hallways and the paint smell filled the area. 'We were in room 224. It was on the second floor and there was no elevator. That meant we had to carry all of our luggage up two flights of stairs. Rather challenging for us at 76 & 77 years of age. The bathroom was so small you had to completely enter the bathroom to turn around and close the door. The commode was significantly lower than I had anticipated.
