'Upon arriving at the room, we went in, and there was trash in the sink. There was towels, washcloths, and other things in the tub. The bed was not made. It was in complete and utter disarray. The building itself was not well taken care and smelled like mold. when I called and spoke to the owner of the property, he was very rude and he acted like this was my fault. He told me that I should just contact the agency and they would reimburse me my money. I explained to him that I drove two hours away...

We came to visit the Christmas Story House which was within walking distance, with a short drive to the USS Cod and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We were excited to be near all of our destinations and Rowley’s Inn around the corner was an additional delight. The neighborhood was amazing and I would definitely stay here at this house again. '
