Rustig, comfortabel Cape Cod-huis dicht bij de kust

We houden van ons huis. We gaan al 35 jaar naar dit huis op de Kaap en willen het graag met u delen. Gelegen aan een rustige, schaduwrijke zandweg. Geweldig om te ontspannen, lezen, luisteren naar rustige muziek, croquet spelen, picknicken, etc. Wanneer u besluit om erop uit te trekken, zijn er veel nabije opties zoals de National Seashore-stranden, de baaistranden, de Massachusetts Audubon Society-paden, de Cape Cod Rail Trail, wandelpaden, winkels, minigolf, de lokale drive-in film, een Cape Cod-honkbalspel en nog veel meer. Dicht bij de regionale middelbare school en lagere kaap conferentiecentra.

Dit huis met één verdieping heeft twee slaapkamers, een badkamer, een woonkamer, een keuken en een familiekamer / eetkamer. De keuken is volledig uitgerust en heeft een vaatwasser. Er is een wasmachine en droger in de kelder. Een buitendouche en een vrijstaande garage zijn nuttige toevoegingen. Voor warme zomerdagen heeft het huis centrale airconditioning.

Op het strand van de baai, op 800 meter afstand en een mooie wandeling na het eten, zijn de zonsondergangen spectaculair. Elke kamer is uniek en het is een traktatie om de zon boven het water te zien ondergaan. Als je vroeg genoeg op bent, kun je ook naar de National Seashore rijden of de zon zien opkomen boven de oceaan en vervolgens naar de plaatselijke koffiebar gaan voor je ochtendkoffie.

Geweldig voor bezoekende therapie- en onderwijsprofessionals die de zomersymposia van Eastham bijwonen.

VRBO at Eaast Chatham

The property was very clean. Kitchen was updated and had all we required. A/C unit was noisy and kept coming on and off like it just wouldn't start. Had to turn it off at night. The area lost power our last night from 5-8pm and then again from 10pm to 8am. The power company Eversource in that area is not very good. Neighborhood was quiet. Those we talked to were very nice. Pretty good location overall.

Weekend wedding

The night we arrived it was pouring rain and it was pitch black so couldn’t see the back door which was to be used to get into the house. Fortunately we stayed with a relative that night because we couldn’t get into the rental. Beth was kind enough to refund our first night’s stay. We greatly appreciated her kindness. We felt it was the perfect location for our weekend. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space.

Quaint Beach Cottage

This beach cottage was just as charming and cozy as my husband and I had anticipated as we dreamed of our first trip to the Northeast and specifically Cape Cod. The home was clean and the host was so gracious and responsive. One thing I would recommend is to ensure you request the general house information document from the host prior to your departure. This document had a lot of key information about the home and guest expectations that I wish I had requested sooner. Otherwise, such a lovely home and gracious host!

House was very clean. The house has updated kitchen and bathroom and adds to the charm. Easy walk to the beach where beautiful sunsets can be watched. We had some rainy days and having a large table to work on puzzles was great we bought our own but there are some challenging ones there and all pieces counted for!! So many beaches close by

Overall very nice house and enjoyable stay. I didn't see the washer and dryer so assumed there was not one until I read through the paperwork, it was a bit of detective work to find the key and unlock the "trap" doors outside of the house leading to the basement, and steep steps going down. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in the house.

Great family spot

We’ve been here twice and plan to come again. Good location, well stocked kitchen, kid and adult bikes, beach toys/inner tubes, and A/C. We can spread out in the different rooms. We could use the outdoor shower a bit after checkout to extend time in the water. Easy walk or bike ride to the beach for sunsets.

Wonderful cottage close to beaches and attractions

We came from Connecticut to spend the Memorial Day Weekend with our 13 year old daughter. This was our first time ever on the Cape. We enjoyed every minute of it! The house is great- exactly as posted and described and very clean and well equipped and everything is in working order. Kitchen and bathroom super good and clean and spacious. Nice family room and living room and two really nicely sized bedrooms. The owners are very easy to communicate with! The house is really in walking distance to the beach (easy walk no more than 10 minutes) which is really a very nice beach with opportunities for long walks. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and peaceful and clean. Ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle. We loved every minute of our stay and we will back for sure. Highly recommended- you can’t go wrong with this house and the location. Close to restaurants and close to National Seashore and other attractions such as whale watching.

Lovely house, nicely renovated kitchen and bath, very comfortable for our family. Walkable to Sunken Meadow Beach for beautiful sunsets. Easy drives to ocean beaches, lobster pounds, and the drive-in! Beth was the perfect host. Will look forward to another visit.

Home away from home

The quintessential New Englander salt box cape-style home was a peaceful respite only a short skip to plenty of beaches. We booked here because you never know what Mother Nature would bring and wanted to relax in a place with all the comforts of home and plenty of good music, board games, books, etc. to enjoy should the weather take a turn for the worse. However, the weather was spectacular and we spent little time in the home, but when we did, we had all we needed for hearty cooking on site and LOTS of great suggestions from the host to make our trip one of the most memorable vacations we've had as a family of three. We'd definitely return. Thanks to our hosts for making our stay feel like home!

Loved the location, perfectly in between Chatham and Provincetown and short drive to beautiful beach and lighthouse. The house is very clean and felt very safe. Does not come with any bedsheets or linens, which is kind of a bummer when you’re flying in from afar and trying to pack light but otherwise no complaints!

wish we could have stayed longer

Nice newly renovated open kitchen and bathroom. Great town for the best of National Seashore beaches. We loved the enclosed porch and playing Scrabble. Even spent some time in the yard playing croquet and we grilled out back- which is exciting for city apartment dwellers like us. I like that the TV is very small and old which encourages other activities. Wi-fi is solid. thanks Beth!

Lovely house close to the beach

Great place to stay, lots of extras provided for your trip to the beach - even a warm outdoor shower! A bit Difficult to find initially as it is down a dirt track but easy to access after you’ve found it.
