  • Fantastisch en ruim appartement met 2 slaapkamers, luxe ingericht en gemeubileerd, op de allerbeste locatie naast Edinburgh Castle. Uitzicht direct op Royal Mile. Alle moderne gemakken. Designer stoffen, wallpapers, gratis wi fi, internet tv in de woonkamer en elke slaapkamer, vloerverwarming. Volledig dubbel glas. Beveiligde toegang. Gezellig en comfortabel. 200 meter van Edinburgh Castle. Een geweldige plek om te verblijven tijdens de Edinburgh Fringe.

    Dit appartement is geschikt voor maximaal 6 personen. Er zijn twee slaapkamers; 1 king size dubbel met tv, een twin / dubbel met twee eenpersoonsbedden en suite, slaapbank voor twee personen in de woonkamer, 2e badkamer. De slaapkamers zijn rustig en stil 's nachts. Aparte keuken, woonkamer met 2 grote ramen met uitzicht op de Royal Mile / Lawn-markt. Alle ramen in het pand zijn voorzien van dubbel glas. Badkamers hebben vloerverwarming. Er is centrale verwarming op gas. Het pand heeft nog geweldige historische kenmerken; oude stenen open haarden, zichtbare oude stenen muren; en toch biedt alle moderne gemakken en opvallende decoratie.

    Gelegen in de historische oude binnenstad van Edinburgh, is dit de beste plek om te verblijven in de stad. De oude binnenstad is een werelderfgoed. Doordrenkt van geschiedenis, boordevol musea, bezoekersattracties, speciaalzaken, restaurants en pubs. Het kasteel van Edinburgh ligt op 1 minuut lopen van uw voordeur. Dit deel van de stad heeft een fijne sfeer en is een genot om te verkennen. Dit appartement ligt echter 's avonds laat op een rustige locatie zonder nachtclubs of luidruchtige pubs. Dit is een geweldige plek om op elk moment te verblijven, maar een toplocatie tijdens het Edinburgh Festival / Fringe of met Nieuwjaar.

Our family had a terrific time staying in this flat in this location. The flat is gorgeous and extremely clean and cozy. Paul was very accommodating and gave us great advice about the area, including suggestions on what to do and places to eat.

The ambience of an older building was so much fun and such a great location to stay in. once there we literally can walk anywhere The beautiful circular stairs are gorgeous but if you have someone that has trouble with stairs, this is something you should know

Perfect location!

The flat was right on royal mile. It was a great location. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect as I was traveling with my parents. The flat was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Can't beat the location!

This is simply the best location you'll find for a stay in Edinburgh, you're just steps away from Edinburgh Castle! We felt like we were in a fairytale just sipping tea and looking out our front window. You can wander these streets for hours and always find something to look at. Having a full apartment with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms was wonderful for our family, and it felt very private and not like we were on top of each other the whole trip. I would stay here again.

Amazing location, beautiful and comfortable apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated being right on the Royal Mile, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the castle. The Jolly Judge pub next door was incredibly scenic and cozy and we also enjoyed the live music at Ensign Ewart’s pub just a minute’s walk up the street. Sunrise from the overlook at the castle is amazing and there’s a gorgeous hike up Arthur’s seat at the bottom of the Royal Mile. A great place to take it all in!

Girls weekend in Edinburgh

A charming apartment in a premier location on the Royal Mile. We were able to walk to all sites. Clean, updated rooms, appliances and facilities. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. We had absolutely no issues or concerns.

Perfect Location

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. If you want to be right in the center of the action, this is the spot. There are endless choices to eat and drink right outside the door. OK, the stairs are a challenge especially if you have been down to the Jolly Judge for a couple of pints, but it's worth it. We spent a lot of time with either a cup of coffee or a glass of wine just people watching out the front window. Would definitely return to stay again.

Location is Everything!!!

We loved our stay in this apt. Location Amazing. Steps from the castle and so much more. We did feel that there could have been more info left. Owner does have a manual with restaurants/menus & mapping, however it would have been nice to have local phone #s for taxis, emergency etc. That being said I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I do not think you could find a better location.

Edinburgh Marathon stay

Came in with my family for the Edinburgh Marathon.The host was very easy to work with and the location is great. We have visited Edinburgh the last three years in a row and know the area well. However I feel there are a few things lacking and some issues with overall cleanliness of the unit, especially in the bathrooms. That said, we would return and rent this flat again.

Fantastic location and as described. Stairs to apartment were steep circular with NO railing. Very dangerous. Carpets were stained and looked dirty. Bathroom floors had hairs in corners. Could have had a better cleaning job. All and all, we would stay again because of location, but my 80 year old mom would not.

Amazing flat in amazing location

My family stayed at the property for four days during it vacation in Scotland. The property is as advertised. Two nice sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice living room and kitchen. Despite being right on the Royal Mile it is quiet and feels very private. It’s close to everything a tourist would want to do. The host has great communication and the glass was spotless. I would 100% stay again. Do be aware the stairs to the flat are historic. It is a stone circular staircase but you get used to it quickly.

What an amazing place

We absolutely loved this place. It is right in the heart of the royal mile. Easy access to everything. The place was very clean. It must have been redone in the past few years. The place was big enough for us - family of 5 with 3 teens. Communication with the host was excellent. I probably sent him a few more emails than what he liked as our arrival times changed but he was always gracious and quick to reply. I would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars from this family.

Bathrooms and bedrooms excellent for cleanliness and supplies. Kitchen supplies and cleanliness good, but checks should be made for broken items before next arrival of visitors. Kitchen is equipped but small. Could not find manuals for working amenities like oven and microwave. This could be included in guest book on the table. Stairs to apartments are definitely a challenge with luggage. Would rate my personal experience as. Good. 4/5. Hosts instructions were clear, but not an easy place to locate on first attempt.

Perfect location

You cannot beat the location if you’re going to the Military Tattoo and Fringe events. You’re a stone’s throw away from the Tattoo and the Castle. The front bedroom (facing the street) is not ideal for light sleepers as the Jolly Judge (a popular pub downstairs from the apartment) gets keg deliveries starting around 4:30 in the morning. The pubs close at 11 so noise from the patrons isn’t a problem. The keg delivery schedule is a bummer for light sleepers. The back bedroom seems more insulated from that noise.
