'After a long day of touring the battlefield, this place was perfect to return to. Great location, modern amenities with an authentic, historical feel. The house was nice and cozy, the shower had great water pressure and the beds were comfy. We will stay here again!'

'We appreciated our accommodating hosts. Clean sheets and overall clean place to stay. It was a farmhouse so it had the typical critters that live in the country. Not too many farm animals left, only goats and peacocks. :( my daughter was sad. Still, I would come back again…we loved fishing!'

'A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable. We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron'

'This house is brimming with charm, is bigger than it looks in photos. We enjoyed a beautiful week in Gettysburg, and it was hot! How nice to return to a cool and comfortable house in the evenings! The kitchen is spacious and beautiful. Our family enjoyed cooking breakfasts and dinners together. The biggest frying pan is cast iron, and if you aren’t used to that or know how to properly season it, maybe bring your own. I also didn’t see a crockpot, but we had brought one. 'This was our second time staying in this property and it was just as wonderful as we remember. We had two grandmoms with us who really appreciated the spacious one-floor accommodations. Huge kitchen and two light filled living rooms provided lots of room for our group to spread out and enjoy! Hope to be back for a third trip some day!'

'What a lovely little townhouse. A little bit off the beaten track, but close to all the downtown attractions. The home was comfortable although a little close for four seniors. Danny could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Beds were comfortable, although bunk beds for our senior friends were not optimal. For a couple with two small children, this home would be great. We had a great time and really got to enjoy downtown Frederick. Many thanks to Danny!'

'Very nice house to stay in. Not super kid friendly but not terrible. My only constructive criticism is, my room was very bright at night even with the blinds closed, some curtains would be nice. Also, an option to gate off the stairs because they are a little sketchy would have been nice. Other than that I have no complaints and would stay again if we return to the area!'

'Rented this VRBO for my wife who had to travel to Westminster to help with her sisters. She said that she loved the space, it was very clean and liked the desk. The only drawback she could point to was that the mattress was very hard. She also mentioned that there was no way to control the temperature and the addition of a fan would have been great.'

'Lovely well kept property. It has everything you need. Comfortable beds and convenient location. The only drawback is the front bedroom has LOTS of street noise. I used a fan for white noise and earplugs. It’s on a busy street. Fire Station is nearby too. Great park for kids across the street. Close to a few great restaurants within walking distance.'

'Location is remote, but it is located on the Little Marsh. We enjoyed meeting the owners and receiving the instructions for the house. Net time we’ll take advantage of the river and catch some fish.'
