Welcome to Casa Lone Jack, we’re excited to host you, your friends and family!
This stunning privately owned, gated and recently renovated one story ranch style home is located in the beautiful city of Encinitas.
We are nestled in the heart of the quaint and historical neighborhood of Olivenhain, known for it’s rolling hills, gorgeous estates and rural horse trails, great for mountain biking, hiking and leisurely strolls.

Casa Lone Jack is a 10 minute drive to coast Highway (101) that features festive bars, delicious restaurants, craft breweries and beautiful picturesque beaches!!
Sink your toes in the sand at Moonlight State Beach, Seaside State Beach or any of the lovely beaches that wind along the gorgeous coastal edge of North County San Diego.
Trains and trolleys are available to make various journeys easy and fun. For your little ones, Legoland, San Diego Zoo as well as the Safari Park are just short drives away.
Petco Park, go Padres!! is a 30-45 minute drive and even shorter by train.
Del Mar racetrack is just to the South and also hosts the San Diego Fair each summer. If you’re into culture and history the famed Balboa Park with its acres of historical buildings, museums, artist village and beautifully landscaped grounds is also a short drive away.

The gated and secure grounds of Casa Lone Jack feature a larger than usual and beautifully landscaped front and back yard. The back yard includes a brand new salt pool and extra large jacuzzi. Along with the pool/jacuzzi, built-in barbecue/bar, grass area, and gas fire pit there is plenty of room in the back for games like bocce ball or corn hole.
Beautiful lights illuminate the palm trees and yard and provide the perfect cozy setting for fun and relaxation.

The main house features 4 large bedrooms along with the casita together can comfortably sleep 13. The spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed and large full bath with a walk in shower and soaking tub. Two other bedrooms in the main house have queen beds and the 4th bedroom features a queen/full bunk bed. In addition to the master bath, the main house has one full bath and one 3/4 bath.

The property also features a beautiful extra large detached casita which includes a king-sized bed, 3/4 bath, a twin day bed and has fun extras like a dual pool/ping pong table. In addition to a charming farm-style half door it also has sliding doors that open to the backyard and pool area.

This home is custom built with plenty of extra amenities including, tankless water heater, reverse osmosis filtration & soft water system. It is newly renovated and is truly a one-of-a-kind ‘must see’ home. Full of extra touches and design features, it’s the perfect home for enjoying all that coastal Southern California, (with its near perfect weather) has to offer!!

$400 Cleaning fee $99 property damage insurance If damage occurs to house or property, guest will be charged for damage not covered by insurance.
The pool is not heated but may be heated w/ owner’s approval for a fee of $250 a night with a two night minimum. Two days advanced noticed required.
All guests must sign liability waiver and house rules before arriving. Heather will email these to guest. Please note: WE HAVE 4 OUTDOOR CAMERAS.

If you’re staying anywhere in the area and have a huge group, this place is simply a no brainer. My wedding party and my, now, wife loved having everyone in one location. The pool is epic. Feels like we were at our own resort. All the tables, chairs, house equipment, cabinets etc were beautiful. Really sweet property all around. We stayed in this home since we wanted to be close for our daughter's wedding that was in the area. This home offered enough bedrooms so each couple and my two grandsons could each have their own bedroom. The master bedroom was immense, with its own shower and tub behind a glass wall. It also had a walk-in closet with washer and dryer. The home had a fabulous outdoor set up. We enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi during our down time. The outdoor table was large enough to seat up to 12 people. We also enjoyed the fire pit for relaxing and of course making smores. The home was clean, comfortable and offered plenty of space for everyone. Our host was always quick to respond to any questions that I had. I would love to come back for another family reunion. It is the perfect spot to spend time with others while on vacation.

The photos do not do the property justice. It is beautiful and really spacious. We are a group of 7 friends and have a “girls weekend” at least once per year. In our 20 years of renting vacation homes we all agreed that Casa Lone Jack was the best stocked home we have ever rented. We brought a bunch of kitchen items for meal prep, but did not need to use anything we brought. Plenty of towels, tp, pool toys, etc. The backyard is huge, as is the pool and spa. The property is large enough so we were able to spread out and just read or float in the pool. Heather is extremely responsive to questions and was very gracious when we asked to make some last minute changes. Casa Lone Jack is forever on our short list for future weekends! Thank you Heather!

Wow—this property is a dream! It’s every bit as beautiful as the photos, and even better in person. The owner was an absolute pleasure to work with, making our entire trip seamless and unforgettable. My basketball team of recent graduates had the best time enjoying the gorgeous house, sparkling pool, cozy casita, and relaxing hot tub. Excellent property - exceptional pool area

We had an awesome stay at Casa Lone Jack! Check-in process was easy. Property owner was very communicative, responsive and supportive. Accommodations were very comfortable for our group of 13 people, with plenty of room for sleeping and gathering. The kitchen, baths, pool area and property overall were well provisioned and accessible. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space including the pool, spa, grill, and gathering space. Located in a convenient and safe neighborhood with gated access and ample parking. Don’t look any further…you found the space. Book Casa Lone Jack and you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful location for family get-together

Casa Lone Jack is an extremely comfortable property with a stunning yard and pool. The house is large and open so family members were able to spread out. Our family (2 seniors, 6 adults, 4 littles) enjoyed 3 days of great meals (grill is terrific), jacuzzi and pool play, s'mores at the fire pit. The beds were comfortable. The host was responsive when we had a small concern (resolved promptly). The kids loved the pingpong table in the casita. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Home, Excellent Host!

Our family spent a lovely weekend at Casa Lone Jack. The posted pictures of the house were very accurate! We loved the large central gathering space and game room. We also appreciated the large dining tables both indoors and out. The yard was manicured and large. The pool was beautiful, and we loved the pool lighting at night, and the large fire pit. The host provided soap, shampoo, spices, cooking utensils and plenty of tableware. The host was very helpful in answering questions and always responded promptly.This was a perfect stay!

Fabulous House, Backyard and Pool!

We live close by and needed an extra home for extended family staying for a week. They loved the home, and we loved going over to hang out in the backyard! The home is very warm and welcoming (not like the typically cold, sterile rentals) The home was equipped with a full kitchen, nice towels, plenty of pool towels, beautiful decor and plenty of rooms and beds for our party of ten. The backyard is set up for family gatherings and all the kids had so much fun in the pool. Highly recommend this home and so grateful we know about it for future needs. Thank you Heather.

An Amazing Stay!

This property is stunning. Every detail was taken care of - from the kitchen (spices, pots, pans, etc...), bathrooms (shampoo, soaps, towels etc...) and bedrooms (extra blankets and chargers if needed).Heather was an incredible host - very responsive and polite with our questions and check-in/out process.We have stayed in multiple VRBO's and this property is one of our favorites. Would definitely recommend if you are planning a multi-generational family vacation in the beautiful town of Encinitas. There was plenty of room for everyone.

Wonderful Stay

This was a very wonderful place to stay for the family. A very useful kitchen, functional layout and a great backyard. The front entry is gated, so I didn't have any concerns of the kids running around the yard and into the street. Truly an excellent place.

Great family gathering

The property was very large with room for 8 adults and 2 children(8, 11 years old.) We loved all the green space( to play corn hole), the beautiful pool and hot tub and the kids loved the trampoline. The rooms were large, 2 laundry areas, 4 bath rooms and so much covered outdoor space with a huge table and loads of chairs, sofas etc. The kitchen was well stocked as was the entire house: bath products, kitchen utensils, games, beach chairs and toys! We came together from 3 states for a week of together time and the house was absolutely perfect for us all!

Family Vacation
